The center is committed to creating a cohesive and cost-effective healthcare delivery system.Unit Name: Pediatric Intensive CareNumber of Beds: 6Patient Ratios: 1:1-2Equipment: Alaris IV pump, Bair hugger, Kangaroo Feeding Pump, Giraffe infant warmer, Ventilators, BiPap, High Flow O2Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech/PyxisJob Responsibilities:Conduct spinal taps and perform sedation for procedures.Titrate critical drips including sedation, vasoactive, and paralytic medications.Assist with sedated MRIs, EKGs, EEGs, and telemetry monitoring.Perform port access and discontinuation procedures.Support intubation and extubation processes.Qualifications:Required: Minimum of 1 year pediatric ICU nursing experience.Preferred: Experience in PICU or NICU settings and familiarity with other women's health areas such as labor and delivery or ob/gyn.Personality Fit: The ideal candidate will be patient, able to multitask, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate a self-starter attitude. Organized individuals will thrive in this role.Required Certifications:ACLSBLSPALSFloating Requirements: May float to the NICU for low acuity cases or to other designated areas if qualified.Dress Code: Teal scrubs are required.Work Schedule: Rotating weekends may be required, with a mixed schedule of days, nights, and weekends to accommodate staffing needs.
